Climbing Bean - True Red Cranberry

Deemed to be one of the oldest American bean   varieties, It was recorded growing in 1700's Maine. Growing to 2 metres this climbing bean is a heavy producer of large, round, deep red beans that look like a ripe cranberry with Each pod holding 5 seeds. Richly flavored, it makes excellent baked beans, Delicious at the shelly bean or dry bean stage and they hold shape in soups and chili.
